A Russian chief rabbi met with leaders of two political parties with a history of anti-Semitism. According to his press service, Rabbi Berel Lazar, the leader of the country’s largest Jewish organization, criticized the anti-Jewish and xenophobic statements of Vladimir Zhirinovsky’s Liberal Democratic Party and Dmitry Rogozin’s Motherland Party.But Lazar’s group, the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia said it shares the patriotic concerns of the two parties.
