A second petition on Austria was addressed today to the League of Nations Council by the World Jewish Congress, asking that urgent consideration be given to the question of emigration of Austrian Jews.
The petition cites the “revolting expropriations and banishment” of Jews in the Burgenland province and calls attention to the desperate situation of Austrian Jews who are forced to leave the country yet find other countries hermetically closed against them
