A shark in the dolphinarium gave birth to three babies Wednesday night, a rare event for sharks in captivity, according to experts. The babies, each about 16 inches long, were born after the normal 20-month pregnancy period. Mother and children were reported well and swimming merrily in their tanks Thursday.
