A Sheraton Forest of 10,000 trees is being planted in the Jerusalem corridor by the Jewish National Fund in cooperation with the Sheraton Hotels in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Each guest staying at either hotel will receive a certificate confirming that a tree has been planted in the forest in his/her name. The forest will be dedicated this week by Tourism Minister Avraham Sharir, and the Sheraton Hotels say if it works well the number of trees targeted will be doubled to 20,000.
