A surprising development in the election campaign for the Zionist Congress has been the purchase of Shekels by about 2,000 Communists, who are expected to vote for the Hashomer Hazair or Poale Zion candidates. Manuel Gravier, secretary of the General Zionists, predicted that the leftist parties may equal the votes of his group.
