A teachers’ group of the Women’s Division of the American Jewish Congress has been organized by Mrs. Rebecca Schlesinger, chairman of the division. Mrs. Edith Gann Kaiberg is chairman and Mrs. Ruth Meirich Ruffman is co-chairman. This group has peen actively interested in the German-Jewish situation, but has shown special concern with regard to the educational future of German Jewish youth. The teachers have voted for an immediate fund-raising project, the proceeds of which will go toward the education of two or three young German Jewish refugees.
