A Tel Aviv man confessed to killing an Arab taxi driver, citing nationalistic motives. The 25-year-old, a recent immigrant with dual French-Israeli citizenship, and his brother were approached by police Monday for loitering. On questioning, the suspect confessed to the murder and led police to his apartment, where they found the body of Taisir Karaki, 35, of Beit Hanina. At the police station, the suspect told investigators that he “decided to murder an Arab,” lured the driver to his apartment and killed him there. His brother arrived at the apartment after the alleged murder.
