A thousand-page report on the activities of the Dutch Nazi collaborator Friedrich Weinreb during the occupation of The Netherlands is nearing completion and should be published this year, it was announced here this week. Based on eye-witness accounts, some by persons still living, and compiled by The Netherlands State Institute of War Documentation, the extensive report will also include interviews with Weinreb himself, who currently lives in Switzerland. In 1948, Weinreb was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment for collaboration with the Germans. The report showed that he had been responsible for many deportations while pretending to be a protector of Dutch Jews.
