A top aide to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denied that he made comments critical of Israel’s first lady to The New Yorker magazine. David Bar- Illan was quoted in the magazine as saying Sara Netanyahu is “not the most stable person in the world.” In the article, a critical portrayal of the prime minister, former Likud Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir was quoted as calling Netanyahu “not a very trustworthy man.”
