A U.S. court upheld the State Department’s designation of the Jewish group Kahane Chai and its affiliates as terrorist groups. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled Tuesday that the State Department’s decision in 2003 to renew its 1997 decision had “substantial support,” noting that the group “was known to approve of terrorist tactics, including the mass murder of Arab worshipers.”
