A U.S. judge’s refusal to dismiss class-action lawsuits against German companies who used slave labor during World War II will delay payments from a restitution fund, according to the chief German negotiator in the talks that established the fund. Otto Lambsdorff said Judge Shirley Wohl Kram’s decision “is legally wrong.”
