A Ukrainian Jewish community is trying to stop construction in an area believed to be over the site of a wartime massacre. The site is located on Lyusdorfskaya Street in the city of Odessa. In 1941, the Nazis killed and cremated more than 25,000 people, mainly Jews, in this area.
