A unique piece of late 19th century decorative art has been uncovered at a Czech synagogue. Workers restoring the interior of Prague’s Jubilee Synagogue were amazed to discover a brightly colored panel decorated in what is known as the Vienna Sezession style, but they were even more stunned to find that it was the only example of such art found in a synagogue anywhere in the world.
