A would-be suicide bomber who tried to carry out a terrorist attack at a Jerusalem cafe six months ago was sentenced Thursday to 22 years in prison. Mishal Niddal entered Cafe Kafit in Jerusalem’s German Colony carrying more than 30 pounds of explosives in a backpack. The attack was thwarted after he aroused the suspicion of restaurant staff and was subdued by a security guard and waiters.
