To assist the Americans and Canadians who will be visiting Israel during the summer and provide them with current information about living in Israel, the Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel (AACI) is opening a drop-in center June 25. All North American tourists to Israel are invited to visit the center, located at the National AACI office at 21 Washington St. in Jerusalem.
AACI staff and counselors will provide up-dated information on immigrant benefits, education, and housing. Members from vaious professional fields will be on hand to answer specific questions on employment possibilities. There will also be extensive information on housing and job opportunities for singles since 42 percent of North Americans making aliya annually are singles.
