Emir Abdullah of Transjordan told the Havas correspondent today that he had proposed uniting Palestine and Transjordan for 10 years into a federal state under British mandate with definite limitations on Jewish immigration.
Returning from a visit to Jerusalem, where he attended an official dinner, the Emir said he had again informed the High Commissioner of Arab opposition to partition of Palestine. Under his plan for a 10-year federal state the Jews would receive full guaranties as a minority group with representation in the country’s administration proportionate to their numbers.
