The chief problem before the New York State section of the National Council of Jewish Women when they hold their annual convention in Syracuse on April 15, 16 and 17, will be the Council’s place and opportunity in present day Jewish life. Besides an exhibit of activities representative of Council life, Rabbi Morris Lazaron of Baltimore, who recently returned from a good-will tour throughout the United States, will speak on “Attitudes of Appreciation” at the opening session. Mrs. Judah Dresner of Yonkers is president of the conference. Further plans will be forthcoming at the conference.
