Actor Leonard Nimoy’s controversial photos of women, inspired by Jewish mysticism, are being translated to ballet. The Elisa Monte Dance company is choreographing a dance work based on Nimoy’s “Shekhina,” a book of black and white photos of women, some partly clad or nude, wearing Jewish ritual objects.
