Aden will help Jewish refugees from Yemen to proceed to Israel, provided adequate assistance is forthcoming from Jewish organizations, Prof. Selig Brodetsky, president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, announced today at a board meeting. Brodetsky reported that the situation of the Jews in Yemen continued to be very unsatisfactory.” He also voiced disappointment over the government’s refusal compensate the victims of last year’s Aden riots.
