The Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith today condemned the Soviet Union’s “heavy-handed policy of repression and punishment” of dissidents and declared it was in full support of the Democratic Movement “which is peaceably and courageously attempting to improve the quality of life and human rights in the USSR.”
