Adolf Frankl, representative of the orthodox Jews in the Upper House of Parliament since 1931, died today after a long illness. He was 78 years old.
Born in Debrecen, Hungary, Mr. Frankl studied in several yeshivas. He became an influential banker. In 1905, he was elected president of the Hungarian Orthodox Jewish Council.
