Adolf Hitler appears to enjoy a larger popularity among British schoolboys than Sir Winston Churchill. According to the sales counter staff at the Imperial War Museum three Hitler posters are sold for every one of Churchill. The Hitler poster vogue is not thought by psychologists to reflect an upsurge of anti-Semitism among Britain’s youth, but rather the impact of the numerous Hitler films shown on British television and in London cinemas. According to a museum spokesman those under 17 years old prefer a Hitler poster which includes swastika flags. University students prefer Hitler portrait posters.
