Adolfo Kates, a Jewish communal leader here, yesterday was awarded the Orden de Caballero Carlos Manuel de Cespedes, which is awarded by the Cuban President to prominent Cuban citizens for services rendered to this country. Mr. Kates is active in all Jewish communal activities here and is a generous supporter of all Jewish fund campaigns.
