After an extended survey and preliminary preparation covering more than a year, Trenton Jewry last night formed a Jewish Federation of Social Agencies. The organization will combine all the educational, charitable and social recreational work hitherto conducted by the various societies and groups of the city.
The Federation, following the plan used by like organizations elsewhere, will establish a single treasury, thus incidentally eliminating the multiplicity of drives conducted each year by local societies. The Y. M. H. A. and Y. W. H. A. were the prime movers for the new Federation.
