After the United States included Hezbollah officials in its wanted list of 22 terrorists, Israeli officials warned the move could lead to a Hezbollah attack on Israel’s northern border. Senior defense officials also believe the U.S. will attack Iraq as part of its war against terror, and asked for adequate advance warning in order to properly prepare for a possible retaliatory attack against Israel.
