Bearing a Soviet exit visa No. 1 for 1952 on her Russian passport, Sarah Hecht, a 73-year-old woman arrived here today from Soviet Russia on an Israeli plane. She received special permission from Joseph Stalin to leave the Soviet Union.
Mrs. Hecht, whose two sons are members of a collective settlement in Israel, applied in Russia for an exit visa two years ago. At the same time, her sons here–whom she has not seen for 32 years–appealed to the Soviet Legation in Israel to intervene with Moscow to permit her to emigrate to the Jewish State. Upon her arrival today she was met at the Lydda airport by her sons, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
