Reporting at a press conference yesterday on the Jewish Agency’s financial and economic activities in wartime, Treasurer Eliezer Kaplan said assistance to agriculture and the citrus industry had decreased unemployment, more than L35,000 had been allocated for assistance to immigrants and that the Agudath Israel and Zionist-Revisionists had negotiated for participation in the Agency’s budget. He reported a budgetary deficit of more than L100,000.
