The Jewish Agency for Palestine has obtained 3,400 immigration certificates in place of the 11,000 it had requested of the Palestine Government, it was learned here today.
The Agency actually receives only 1,900 of the total allotted since 1,000 had previously been advanced against the new schedule and 500 were deducted for tourists who had illegally remained in the country.
