Agreement on Palestine Reached by Anglo-italian Parley in Rome

Italy will agree not to oppose British policy in Palestine, in a new Anglo-Italian agreement in which will be incorporated the terms of last year’s “Gentlemen’s Agreement,” it was understood today.

Diplomatic circles confirmed that both London and Rome have undertaken not to interfere in the internal affairs of the territories under the other’s administration, and to recognize each other’s positions in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea.
