“It is our sacred duty to demand the full right for any Jew to enter Eretz Yizroel at all times, and to enjoy there the same privileges of trade, industry and land purchase as all other inhabitants of the land,” the Agudas Israel of America told the Anglo-American Inquiry Committee in a letter made public two today.
The letter was sent in reply to an invitation from the committee for a statement of policy by the Agudas Israel on the Palestine problem. Earlier in the week the Agudah had notified the committee that it would not appear to testify because its position would be presented by its central offices in London and Jerusalem.
