Rabbi I.M. Levin, Israel Minister of Welfare, today announced that he is leaving for New York in his capacity as chairman of the Agudath Israel Organization to launch a separate $2,000,000 fund-raising campaign in the United States for Agudah activities. He will be accompanied by Benjamin Mintz, president of the Agudath Israel Labor organization and member of the Israel Parliament. The two Agudah leaders today stated that all efforts to reach an understanding with the United Jewish Appeal have failed.
