Rabbi Shlomo Lorincz, president of the Agudas Israel Youth Organization in Israel, arrived here last night by air to conduct a three-month tour of the United States to help recruit Jewish youths for settlement in the “strategic agricultural areas of Israel.”
Rabbi Lorincz said he would seek to interest young men between the ages of 16 and 25, particularly those attending parochial schools and theological seminaries, in enrolling in a pioneer training farm at Highmount, N.Y., prior to their embarking for the Jewish state. He said he expected the first group would leave for Israel toward the end of April.
