The Agudath Israel has submitted an application to the Palestine government for 1,100 immigration certificates to be granted for the special use of its members abroad.
The certificates if granted would be distributed to members of the Agudath Israel in Poland for the most part, it is learned.
It was reported some time ago that the Agudath Israel had made representations to the High Commissioner for a separate immigration, distinct from that accorded the immigrants under the Jewish Agency. It was then understood that the High Commissioner had promised to consider the matter in receipt of a formal application.
