The Rosenheim Foundation announced today it was making a Cable 20 scholarships at yeshivot in four European countries in honor of the 87th birthday next Saturday of Jacob Rosenheim, founder and life president of the Agudas Israel World Organization.
The four countries are England, Switzerland, France and Belgium. The scholarships are intended mainly for pupils from Eastern Europe and North Africa and are included in the program of UNESCO headquarters, the Foundation said.
The Foundation added that pupils from Poland and Czechoslovakia might be able to accept scholarships and that talks for that purpose were now taking place with the delegations of those countries at UNESCO.
