Means by which British Jewry may be able to rescue Jewish children from Germany and Austria were outlined by Otto schiff, head of the German refugees’ Committee, at a meeting held under the auspices of B’nai B’rith. Describing the position of the children as desperate and growing worse, Mr. Schiff appealed to British Jewry to do every thing in its power to assist them.

Through an error in cable transmission, it was made to appear, in a dispatch published in the JTA News of Oct. 19, That the Warsaw Yiddish daily Haint had been banned for three months, whereas it was actually barred from Palestine for three months. The dispatch emanate from Jerusalem, not from Warsaw.
