Police in the city of Radom were searching today for a member of the Endek anti-Semitic party who shot and wounded a three-year-old Christian child yesterday afternoon while aiming at a Jewish passerby. He disappeared after the shooting.

In a number of towns surrounding Radom, which has been the storm center of anti-Semitic disturbances in the past two weeks, the authorities prohibited the holding of the usual markets to avoid excesses.

In Lodz, a Jewish tailor named Mordechai, 46, died in the hospital today of wounds received last week when he was attacked by anti-Semites. The Jewish community defrayed the cost of the funeral.
