A campaign to aid the Jewish poor, the elderly and the addicted here will be undertaken by the New York Chapter of the American Jewish Committee in the near future, according to Chapter President Edward D. Moldover. “It has long been assumed by many Jews and others that there are few if any Jewish poor, and no Jewish addicts. Unfortunately, this never was, nor is it now the case.” he said.
