The mother of Lt. Col. Yehonatan Netanyahu, the Israeli commander slain during the rescue of hostages at Entebbe last year, will be the honored guest June 12 when a Bronx street is named for her son. The ceremony will take place in the newly-renamed Yehonatan Netanyahu Lane located at Pelham Parkway and Holland Avenue. Councilman Stephen B. Kaufman, who introduced the bill to rename the street, is honorary chairman of the event. The chairman is Harold Davis, president of the Bronx region of the Zionist Organization of America which donated a monument to the Israeli which will be unveiled at the ceremony.
