Alain Poher, president of the French Senate and president of the International Committee of Jews in Arab Lands, said Friday that unless Syria showed “some good will” toward solving the case of Albert Atallah, the Lebanese Jewish community leader kidnapped in Beirut in Sept., the Conference would release all its information on the case. Poher said his group has a witness who can testify in detail as to what happened to Atallah and where he is being detained. According to earlier reports, he is being held in a Syrian military prison.
