Mrs. Marietta Tree, the United States representative to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, was given an award here yesterday by the Women’s Division of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine for “her enduring concern with the dignity of man and her staunch and courageous advocacy of civil rights.”
Mrs. Tree was presented with the award at a luncheon of the organization. Others honored at the event included comedian Bob Hope and Leontyne Price, Metropolitan Opera star.
