Alexander L. Shluger, since 1920 a leading member of the staff of the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society, died suddenly today while vacationing at Callicoon, N. Y. From 1920 to 1923, Mr. Shluger was in charge of the Warsaw office of Hias, and from 1924 to the present, he was the head of the Hias Information and Naturalization Service at the headquarters of the organization in New York.
