The hearing of the case against the Michigan State Aliens Registration Bill, which was to have come up before the U.S. Federal Court on Tuesday, the 9th. inst., has been postponed by the Federal Court till June 29th.
The opponents of the Bill are asking the Federal Court for a permanent injunction against the alien Registration Law enacted by the State of Michigan. A temporary injunction has already been obtained, on account of which the Michigan State authorities have had to stop the preparations they had already started for setting up the machinery for enforcing the Registration Law.
