All of Jerusalem was lit up last night–the first night of Chanukah, the Festival of Lights–by a huge electric candelabra fixed atop the Parliamentary building here. A torch carried by runners from Modiin–birthplace’ of the Macabbees–was stationed on the roof of the Jewish National Fund building here amid appropriate ceremonies.
