All Jewish shops in Salonica were closed today when an open air meeting, with the participation of 5,000 persons, was held to protest against the Palestine atrocities. Resolutions calling for the punishment of the guilty officials and their dismissal, reparation for damages and indemnity to the sufferers, solution of the Wailing Wall question, and freedom of Jewish immigration were submitted to the English Consul here.
The Archbishop of Salonica visited the Grand Rabbin expressing the sympathy of the Greek people.
