All male Jews of military age in Hungary, except doctors and pharmacists, have been ordered to report for labor service, the Swedish Telegraphic Agency reports today from Budapest. “The measure is necessary in order to frustrate Jewish attempts to sabotage Hungary’s military activities,” the official order stated.
The German Transocean news agency today reported that approximately 235,000 Budapest Jews have been ejected from their apartments under the anti-Jewish regulations.
