The people of Latin-America are vitally interested in the Palestine problem, feeling that if Britain can “get away with the violation of the great principles of international morality which clearly support the cause of the Jewish people,” the security and peace of all peoples who do not possess large armies and navies will be threatened, Dr. Gustavo Guiterrez, secretary of the Cuban Board of War Economy, said today.

Addressing a luncheon in his honor arranged by the World Christian Committee for Palestine at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, Dr. Guiterrez, who recently returned from a tour of Palestine, ridiculed the reports that tension is rising between the average Arab and Jew. Other speakers were Dr. Howard LeSourd, secretary-treasurer of the World Christian Committee for Palestine and Dr. Dean Alfange, national treasurer of the American Christian Palestine Committee.
