The alleged interview with King Carol circulated by the German World Press Service of Hanover in which the King is supposed to have spoken of the Galician and Russian Jews as usurers who are themselves to blame for the disturbances in Roumana, is emphatically denied in official circles here. The J.T.A. representative has been told that the King has made no statements of the kind attributed to him.
