Rabbi Harry W. Katchen, of Pittstown, was formally installed as rabbi of Temple Beth El, Allentown, at impressive services which were largely attended.
Dr. Max Arzt, rabbi of Temple Israel, Scranton, and representative of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, officiated at the services.
