The construction of new buildings to accommodate an additional 4,700 children in the schools of the Alliance Universelle Israelite has been started in Casablanca, Sefru, Rabat and Marakesh, in North Africa, it was announced here today by the American Friends of the Alliance on the basis of a cable received from Paris. The construction of new schools is part of a larger program aiming at raising the number of pupils in the Alliance educational institutions in Israel and in Moslem countries from the present total of 49,000 to 6.5,000.
