Foreign Minister Yigal Allon warned today that any international recognition of terrorist organizations will poison the atmosphere in the Middle East and jeopardize the political efforts for a peaceful solution in the area. He said that Israel was consistently trying to convince friendly nations of this fact. But unfortunately, the Palestine Liberation Organization has won recognition in the last seven years from countries that are considered friendly to Israel, Allon said. He spoke in reply to questions at a special session of the Knesset convened today at the behest of Likud to discussion internal and external matters. The Knesset is officially on its summer recess.
